Questions about temp mail
Is temp mail free?
Yes. TempMail.tv is free to use, with no sign-up. Open the page and your address is ready.
Is a fake email address a real inbox?
Yes. A temporary email address has a real inbox that can receive messages. An address you just make up has no inbox, so it cannot get mail for you.
How long are messages kept?
Messages are kept for a limited time. If something is important, save it or copy what you need.
Can I send or reply to emails?
No. Temp mail is for receiving only. You cannot send new emails or reply.
Can I choose my own name?
Yes. Tap Change, then type the name you want before the @. If that name is taken, try another one.
Can I receive attachments?
Attachments may not be supported. If you need to get files, use your regular email.
Can I use temp mail for important accounts?
It is better not to. A temporary address may stop working, and then you could not reset your password. Keep your real email for accounts that matter.
Why has my email not arrived?
Some emails take a minute to arrive, and some websites do not accept temporary addresses. Check that you pasted the full address, tap Refresh, then wait a little.
